If It Were Prom 2014 All Over Again?
Prom season is just about over, but I decided to make a
post dedicated to the milestone in a teen's life. I skipped out on my prom
Senior year for personal reason. I told myself I would never regret it, but as
I look back, I wish I would have gone. Seeing young girls now getting dressed
and dolled up makes me a little envious of what I could of have.
So, I went on to online shop just to look at dresses. I picked out a few that I would have worn back in 2014 if I would have went to prom. Maybe these will help out a young girl for next year's prom event.

I'm really in love with sequin, sweetheart necklines, and deep
splits.
First one: Promgirl - Strapless Baby Doll Party Dress - $119.00
I enjoy this gown mostly because of the rhinestones
and corset top. I'm not a big fan of tutu's, but the bright red
sets it off.
Second one: Jjshouse Long Strapless Beaded Gown - $ 178.99
I like the sweetheart neckline and deep split in the
gown, but I think it's a little too much bead work for my liking.
Third one: Sherri Hill 21185
This one I really like because it's sexy and fun.
Though I think my mother would not let me wear something like this back in high
school, I could see myself in it now. I love the cutouts and the asymmetrical
line that divides the different styles. Pretty unique dress.
The last one: Okdress White One Shoulder Long Maxi Gowns - £65.50
Now this one, would be my pick. I would pick the white
gown because the white is very elegant. It has all of the characteristics I
would look for in a dress. It has a deep split (check),sweetheart neckline (check) and sequin (check). To top it
all off the gown hits the floor and has a diagonal strap. I think we have a winner!

Beast (South Korean band)
Beast has released one Korean full-length album, six Korean mini-albums, one Japanese full-length and various singles. The group's debut release was in October, 2009, when their first mini-album, Beast Is the B2ST, was made available. They then released their first full-length album, Fiction and Fact, in 2011,receiving their first triple crown on M.net's M! Countdown for their lead single Fiction. In the same year, Beast made their Japanese debut with the release of the single, Shock (Japanese Version).
The group gained attention for the lack of industry success previously experienced by its members, with media outlets referring to them as "a group of recycled material".However, the group has achieved significant commercial and critical accolades with time, winning the Bonsang award at the Seoul Music Awards in both 2011 and 2012. Beast won the Artist of the Year (Daesang) award at the Melon Music Awards and Album of the Year for Fiction and Fact at the Gaon Chart Awards for the second quarter of the year in 2011. "Fiction" also won a Daesang for "Song of the Year" at the 2011 KBS Music Festival.
Gangnam Style
The phrase "Gangnam Style" is a Korean neologism that refers to a lifestyle associated with the Gangnam District of Seoul. The song and its accompanying music video went viral in August 2012 and have influenced popular culture worldwide since then. "Gangnam Style" received mixed to positive reviews, with praise going to its catchy beat and PSY's amusing dance moves (which themselves have become a phenomenon) in the music video and during live performances in various locations around the world. In September 2012, "Gangnam Style" was recognized by Guinness World Records as the most "liked" video on YouTube.It subsequently won Best Video at the MTV Europe Music Awards held later that year.It became a source of parodies and reaction videos by many different individuals, groups and organizations while also inspiring dance mobs in Paris, Rome, and Milan, with tens of thousands of participants each. On New Year's Eve 2012, more than one million people witnessed a live "Gangnam Style" performance in Times Square, New York City, featuring PSY and rapper MC Hammer;as well as in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.
By the end of 2012, the song had topped the music charts of more than 30 countries including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Although its reception in Japan remained lukewarm, "Gangnam Style" topped China's Baidu 500 download list and was labelled by state media as having a "divine melody."
As the song continued to rapidly gain popularity and ubiquity, its signature dance moves were attempted by many notable political leaders such as the British Prime Minister David Cameron, U.S. President Barack Obama, and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon, who hailed it as a "force for world peace".Its influence on political activism was exemplified by the short film Gangnam for Freedom, produced by the British sculptor Anish Kapoor to advocate the freedom of expression with the support of various human rights organisations such as Index on Censorship and Amnesty International.According to the United Nations' news division, PSY has become an "international sensation" through his song "Gangnam Style".
